Here is a little something I have been working on. I haven’t gotten it all the way done yet. The inside is still blank. This pocket is a punch out from TAC’s cardstock punch out sets. I just used the punch out but if you wanted to make more than one you could use the punch out as a template. I used my markers to ink the stamp. I used stamps from The Earth Laughs in Flowers set-T-2116. I used a flower punch out to hold the pocket closed. I glued half of the flower down and left the other half free to hold the pocket closed. To make this pocket look like a little purse you could add a ribbon as a strap. All that is left is to add your message to the inside. I think just using the pocket alone with out adding it to a card makes it so much more fun. These make great invitations to girls night and things like that. When I decide how I’m going to finish it off, I will post about it. Oh, I just thought of how this would make a really cute baby shower invitation! Just stamp it with baby themed stamps and make it look like a diaper bag!

I have been thinking of more ways to get more income out TAC. I know some of the other demonstrators sell card kits. They design a few cards and then put together all the papers and stamps needed to make the cards in a kit. They sell them at demos and stuff. I’m thinking of cards and how to put the kits together. I may just do design patterns and papers in the kit and then customers can order the stamps separately if they want the stamps. As for the Secret Admirers, I got the ideas from some WAHMS that sell Santa letters for kids. I think I’ll set it up so people can order a handmade card with some kind of saying inside, add a personal message and then, I’ll mail it off. So you pick the card, the message, and I make it and send it for you. It would be signed your Secret Admirer. They cards could be romantic or just letting someone know that someone else looks up to them. I’m going to have to set up some kind of a web page where I can display designs and take orders. Of course if you really wanted them to know whom the card was from I can put your name on it. The cards could be seasonal or whatever. The more I talk about it the more exciting I find it!

I just got my copy of the new TAC catalogue. I love the new format. It is smaller because they have chosen to put out 2 catalogues a year insted of one big one. Also the pics of the stamps are not actual size. But it is still full of great ideas. They cost of the new catalogue is 4.95 plus shipping and handling. Here are the pics of the cards I have been working on. I’m running out of colored cardstock choices and really need to get some more. They aren’t anything too fancy. I like simple cards. Plus I’m still only working with stamps and things that came in my kit.

I have been working on finding people to join my stamping club. And keeping on the look out for people interested in being hosteses or joining tac. My next project is making baby announcements. I’ll be making ones like I posted before. I will be placing them up for sale on etsy or ebay. I’ll post about that when I get them done.
